A true man shall Discover Great Wall of China
#wheretogo
people often quote “who has not been to Great Wall of China is not a true man”
Finally I did it. And one bucket list off the list ✅
if you are in Beijing you could just arrange a day tour to Great Wall of China from trusted agent . I taking the join-in tour for my trip.
you will need to meet a driver in a meeting point and they will pick you up. you can choose the language of the guide if you can’t understand Chinese .
is really a informative tour , guide will explain the attraction along the journey so you won’t get bored . the tour including the attraction fees but not the funicular fees.
be prepare for a long walk if you wanted to visit Great Wall of China , be comfortable and wear a really comfortable shoes . you required to walk alot. you can opt to take down by funicular ride if you are tiring. I choose to walk down from the peak.
the view is really impressive , you really should visit Great Wall of China if you are here . better to see it in your eyes
one more thing, is full of people on the bridge up and down is hard to get a good angle for a nice picture . most of the picture are human background :)

Gubeikou to Jinshangling 🚶🚶♀️🇨🇳
A peaceful part of the great wall and beautiful place to explore the wall without the crowds.
We set off around 6am to the mainly unrestored wall at Gubeikou. In Gubeikou we took a few photos and then set off on the 4/5 hour hike up over and around the wall to Jinshangling, where the wall has been restored and repaired. It was great to compare and contrast between the older and recently restored sections. The scenery was stunning.
Advice- Take as much water as you can carry comfortably, as unlike most hikes in China there is a very limited number of vendors on the route.
Getting There - From Beijing you'll need a driver for the day, as you'll need to be dropped off and collected at different sections of the wall. Taxi's may work in high season.
Attractions- Walking on the wall + More walking on the wall. A chance to take photos on the wall without other tourists in sight.
Food- We only saw vendors when we got close to Jinshangling.

Great Wall Of Beautiful China
Finally get to see the only man made structures that can see from Space.
In awe of the extensive wall structures and admired the soldiers station here.
It’s extremely cold with strong wind blowing making it even colder.
Was there just for an hour and the cold is already getting too much to handle.
But in all, love the place

Gubeikou great wall section. Beijing
Had a great time at Gubeikou section of the great wall. Breathtaking views which give scenic views for miles. The wall was not difficult to hike and in my opinion much better than the renovated other wall section alternatives . Remember to bring water as I didn't meet anyone selling water on the wall. All in all a thoroughly great day and worthwhile experience.

This portion of the Great Wall is called wild or unrestored sections. The great wall is called Gubeikuo and the hike can end up at Jinshanling Great Wall. The whole journey is about 15km.
The landscape is beautiful and picturesque. You really admire the amazing strutures and serenity. This is because there is no crowd at all, and you can be immersed fully in the wildness.
I can assure you that you will have a totally different experience and feel when you walk on this untouched great wall.

Gubeikou (Great Wall)
The destination is about a 2-hour drive from Beijing and then another 1 hr plus to hike up to the base of the wall.
This part of the Great Wall is not restored, so the path is rugged. One needs a good pair of hiking boots and a good level of fitness, especially if one wants to attempt the Ox Horn edge.

Stop going to Badaling, come to the Great Wall of Wohushan in Miyun, where there are fewer people and beautiful scenery
Wohushan Great Wall, located in Gubeikou Town, Miyun District, Beijing, is part of the famous Gubeikou Great Wall, with an altitude of over 600 meters. Because the top of the mountain looks particularly like a tiger lying down, it is named Wohushan!
Navigation location: Hexi Village, Gubeikou, Miyun, it is recommended to drive by yourself
The view from the top of Wohushan is wide. When you climb to the main peak, you can see the first peak of Jingdong, Wuling Mountain, to the east, the winding Ant Ridge to the west, the mirror-like Miyun Reservoir to the south, and the Taoshan with a view of the border scenery to the north.
The Great Wall of Wohushan is very worth visiting. Although it is not as dangerous as Simatai and not as beautiful as Jinshanling, it has its own unique scenery!
Beijing had a heavy snow last month, and the snow on the Great Wall of Wohushan has not completely melted, making the scenery even more gorgeous!!

The Great Wall, Beijing China

The Great Wall, which has not been seen for a long time, is still majestic and majestic. The Simatai Great Wall is the only section of the Great Wall that preserves the original appearance of the Ming Great Wall. It runs along the blade-like ridge. It is wide and narrow, and it rises and falls. The city, the enemy building and the barrier wall are in a short distance. The steep slope is extremely rare throughout the Great Wall.
Climb the sun and the blue sky all the way, standing in the Great Wall of the East and West, the wild clouds are long, the ancient and the present, can not help but sigh the greatness and civilization of the ancients. Although the cold crawling panting, still sighs the beauty of the mountains and rivers, it is worthwhile.

Gubeikou Great Wall is located in the southeast of Gubeikou Town, Miyun District, Beijing. It consists of the Great Wall of Wohu Mountain, the Great Wall of Longshan Mountain, the Great Wall of Jinshanling and the Great Wall of Simatai. Beiqi Tianbao six years (555) built a Great Wall from the Xihe River (now Shaanxi Yulin River) to Shanhaiguan a total of more than 1,500 kilometers. Among them, Gubeikou is the key to the key fortification. Although it is the Great Wall, it is actually going to take the cable car. Modern technology makes life more convenient, but it also makes people more lazy. Fortunately, the cable car does not let everyone climb to the highest section at once, and it takes a certain amount of physical strength to climb to the top. Oh...z
